Children's public health transfer

Local authorities took on responsibility for commissioning the 0–5 Healthy Child Programme, which included health visiting and the Family Nurse Partnership service.

However, NHS England retained responsibility for Child Health Information Systems (CHIS), subject to a review in 2020. Because of complex commissioning arrangements, it also remained responsible for the 6–8 week GP check.
