Dignity in Care campaign

14 November 2006

The Dignity in Care campaign sought to promote dignity in care services in all government and stakeholder messaging and through a public-facing campaign.

The public-facing campaign aimed to:

  • raise awareness of the need for greater dignity in treatment of people in care
  • enable local people to take action
  • recognise and celebrate those who make a difference.

Sir Michael Parkinson was appointed as an ambassador for this campaign.
