Think Local, Act Personal (TLAP)

The Think Local, Act Personal (TLAP) partnership was launched in November 2010 at the National Children's and Adults' Services Conference.

TLAP was set up as a national, cross-sector partnership to drive forward the personalisation agenda and to increase the range and availability of community based support.

The partnership agreement initially limited the membership to 40 members. Following a refresh in June 2014 for the period of 2014–17, the Department of Health, Local Government Association, Social Care Institute for Excellence and the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services became TLAP partners.
